About Us

China REITs Forum (abbreviated as CRF) is an unincorporated, non-profit, open, and international platform initialized by domestic and foreign academic and business institutions. CRF, together with its highly influential members and advisors, is consistently making contributions to policy refinement and industry development, stimulating a better China REITs market.

To enhance CRF’s systematic research capacity and market influence, making the best of its leading role, REITs Institute was officially inaugurated on December 8, 2022, at the China REITs Forum 2022 Annual Conference, in the support of the Shanghai Municipal Government. As a non-profit and non-enterprise institute, REITs Institute is a think tank that is devoted to the high-level study of industry policies and academic issues, businesses including conference organization, industry research, training courses, consulting services, etc. The registration authority of REITs Institute is the Shanghai Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau, and the competent authority is the Financial Commission of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the CPC. REITs Institute adheres to "three services" including market construction service, members service, and industry supervision service. Meanwhile, we build "two circles", which means we insist on friends pool expansion and ecosystem cultivation.

Theme Seminar(2020-2023)

On August 21, 2022, the "Seminar on Key Issues of Pilot Policies for Publicly Offered Infrastructure REITs" organized by China REITs Forum was held in Beijing. Leaders and experts from the National Development and Reform Commission, China Securities Regulatory Commission, Shanghai Stock Exchange,

Shenzhen Stock Exchange, and other departments attended the seminar. This meeting is the first all-round, multi-participation symposium since the release of the pilot notice for publicly offered infrastructure REITs on April 30.

Specialized Courses
Specialized Courses

For relevant government departments, original equity holders, institutional investors, and the public, we have developed relevant courses and released public course products to further enhance the utilization of REITs tools by various market players. Up to now, three courses have been held in Beijing and Shanghai, with topics related to clean energy investment and financing and REITs, and consumption infrastructure REITs.

In 2024, REITs Institute is going to launch a series of module courses targeted on corporations, covering investment, financing, risk management, and operation topics. Meanwhile, REITs Institute will also elabo rate courses for regional stock revitalization and effective investment expansion issues, which help better understand typical investment and financing models under the current environment from policy, finance instruments, investment choices, and practical case perspectives.

Issues and Research Reports

Since its establishment, China REITs Forum has undertaken projects of the National Development and Reform Commission, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Construction Bank of China, Shanghai Stock Exchange, Shenzhen Stock Exchange, Shanghai Real Estate, Shentong Group and other organizations, and released more than ten projects or research reports. Significant Projects

REITs Institute, together with Beijing Jiaotong University and Guangdong United Assets and Equity Exchange, is jointly undertaking the key project of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administra tion Commission of the State Council, "Central State-owned Enterprises Revitalizing Stock Assets and Expanding Effective Investment" research. The project aims to come up with practical methods for stock assets revitalization and effective investment expansion and offer constructive suggestions for central state-owned enterprises. With clarification of stock assets and investment situation in central state-owned enterprises and analysis of the classic cases, the research makes a significant contribution to the revitalization of stock assets and expansion of effective investment and has strong practical mean ing for central state-owned enterprises to build the new development pattern and promote high-quality development.
